GOOD NEWS FOR CELTIC HE IS BACK

In a significant career move, Scottish goalkeeper Scott Bain has left Celtic after more than seven years at the club and signed a one-year deal with Falkirk.

The 33-year-old initially joined Celtic on a loan from Dundee in January 2018 and made the move permanent at the end of that season. During his time at Celtic, Bain was a part of a hugely successful period, winning seven league titles, four League Cups, and three Scottish Cups. He made a total of 78 appearances for the club and also earned three caps for the Scotland national team.

Falkirk announced the signing of Bain in early June 2025, with the goalkeeper becoming the club’s first summer signing. Paul Smith, a representative from Falkirk, expressed his delight, noting that Bain chose the club over various other offers. Smith highlighted Bain’s wealth of experience from playing at the highest level, including in massive European games and with the national team.

Bain himself stated he was “really sad” to leave Celtic but “so thankful” for his time there. He expressed excitement for the new chapter with Falkirk, saying he feels he can bring valuable experience to the team. Bain has already started for Falkirk in the new season, making two appearances in the league and two in the League Cup.
