Tottenham Hotspur will be desperate to return to winning ways in the Premier League when they host London rivals West Ham United on Saturday.
Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs charges will lock horns with the Hammers in Saturday’s 12:30pm kick-off at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Tottenham have dominated in many of their games, showing the potential is there to become a real nightmare for opponents.
However, defensive errors and a lack of consistency in taking their chances has often cost Spurs, and, as a result, they’re currently just ninth in the standings.
Meanwhile, the Hammers currently sit 12th and will be high in confidence following their resounding 4-1 win over Ipswich Town last time out.
TBR Football looks at who Ange Postecoglou could name in his starting XI for Saturday’s early kick-off at N17.
Tottenham team news v West Ham
Postecoglou had good news at his pre-match presser, with forwards Son Heung-min and Richarlison available once again following their respective injuries.
Midfielder Lucas Bergvall picked up a knock during the international break but Postecoglou confirmed he has trained and is available, as per football.london.
Wilson Odobert is nearing a return, but this weekend’s game comes too soon for the Tottenham summer signing.
One change predicted for Tottenham against Hammers
With a mostly clean bill of health, Postecoglou will be able to field his strongest XI against West Ham.
Postecoglou is likely to make just one change for Spurs, namely Son Heung-min returning on the left flank of attack and Timo Werner dropping out.
The £165,000-a-week forward didn’t do very well against Brighton and, with Son being the team’s captain, it’s not a hard decision for the manager to make.
Guglielmo Vicario is expected to start in goal, with Destiny Udogie, Micky van de Ven, Cristian Romero and Pedro Porro in front of him.
