- £17m Everton player admits his target is to become the best player in the world
Everton are back in action on Saturday evening with a game at Goodison Park against Fulham as they look to keep their improved form going.
Sean Dyche‘s side will be aware of how most of the sides around them in the table have got on this weekend as they cap off Saturday’s action.
But Everton go into the game on Merseyside with the opportunity to potentially pull eight points clear of Crystal Palace in 18th spot.
The Toffees have been much improved of late with four straight games without defeat now to their name in the Premier League.
And there have been some standout performers with one of them already claiming he wants to become the best player in the world.
£17m Everton player wants to be the best in the world
After a dreadful start to the season, Everton have finally been able to get themselves back on track with some encouraging wins.
And the Toffees need to keep this improved form going with a dreaded run of fixtures coming up over December.
It was a solid summer transfer window for the Blues and it seems one of their signings has really hit the ground running in Iliman Ndiaye.
Ndiaye has even admitted he wants to score the first goal at Everton’s news stadium when they make the move next season.
Speaking to The Times, Ndiaye has admitted he has aspirations to become the best player in the world.
“The target since I was young was to be the best player in the world,” said the £17m summer signing.
- “If you set the highest target, the smaller things such as getting to a club and another club will come by itself. To be the best player in the world, you have to work harder than everyone else. That’s what I try to do.”
