Here we go, the final regular season football game for the LA Rams this season. And now that there are just three games to go, the pressure to play well is reaching its crescendo. But is it really placing pressure on the team to expect the team to deliver as it has over the past three games? After all, this is the team that has played to a 7-2 record after its Week 6 BYE, and the team that has won the past three consecutive games.

So having expectations for a win in Week 16 is not out of the question.

But it’s not a certainty either. The team has beaten some very good teams in 2024. On the other hand, this team has lost to teams that are struggling this year. Not only must the team overcome the New York Jets in Week 16, but the players must be prepared to peak at 1:00 pm ET, which is 10:00 am PT. And the Rams must overcome bitterly cold temperatures and gusty winds too.

And the team must do so on the road.

We can hope for the Rams to show up in a huge way for this game. And with so much on the line, I cannot imagine the team making the mistake of looking past the New York Jets to their final two opponents. While the team is riding the wave of a three-game winning streak, all margin for a late season loss evaporated when the team started the season with a record of 1-4.
