Aston Villa are reigniting their interest in Borussia Dortmund’s Donyell Malen, ahead of next month’s transfer window.

 

That’s according to the Daily Mail who claim Villa are ‘exploring terms’ for a player with whom they were linked in the summer.

The forward, who can played across the front line but has played 13 of his 20 BVB games on the right wing so far this season, is claimed to be valued at around £25 million and has 18 months left on his contract.

 

The report says the Netherlands international has a ‘strong rapport’ with former club and international team-mate Ian Maatsen, having come through the Dutch youth-set up together.
