Breaking news:Rangers Fc Appoints Derek McInnes as new Head Coach…
Rangers could soon find themselves searching for yet another new manager as calls to sack Philippe Clement grow.
Clement is under intense scrutiny at Ibrox after Rangers somehow lost 1-0 to Queen’s Park in the Scottish Cup on Sunday (9 February).
If the Belgian manager is finally given his marching orders after surviving several times, Patrick Stewart will be tasked with looking for the first replacement in the dugout.
Rangers told to appoint Derek McInnes
Derek McInnes should be appointed at Ibrox as their next manager, Mark Guidi says.
The Scottish journalist believes the Kilmarnock boss is the right man to take the Glaswegian outfit forward after several failed appointments.
While it looks like Clement may avoid the sack at Rangers, Guidi wants to see McInnes replace him.
Speaking on the Go Radio Football Show (10 February), the journalist said: “Somebody who knows his way around the block, knows what the club is about, would boot a few backsides in the right way, a good recruitment record; I would go and get McInnes if it was possible.”
Derek McInnes change needed at Ibrox
Fans will be looking at Stewart to implement changes at Ibrox sooner rather than later, as there seems to be no way back for the Belgian manager.
