Neil Lennon signing told ‘he isn’t going to find a better place’ to play than at Celtic as exit looms

Celtic had a rather interesting January transfer window.
Usually, the drama stems from the summer, but the winter provided enough entertainment for everyone associated with Celtic as some interesting deals were concluded.
The 7 WORST Football Club Rebrands
From Kyogo Furuhashi leaving to a replacement striker not being signed, including Jota returning and Kieran Tierney set to make a comeback in the summer.
It all gears up for what will be a very crucial summer transfer window and one Celtic have got to get right as soon as possible.
Celtic are heading towards the Premiership title, but rather than qualify automatically for the Champions League for next season, it’s those dreaded qualifiers making their comeback again.
By the time that first game is played, the Bhoys need to be ready and that includes the current squad players committing their futures to the cause.
Celtic told it would be ‘disappointing’ if Greg Taylor left for Dinamo Zagreb
It has been well-documented that Greg Taylor’s contract expires at Celtic in the summer and he is yet to sign a new deal.
If you add in the fact that Tierney is coming back, then it just points towards the 27-year-old heading for the exit door, six years after Neil Lennon signed him from Kilmarnock.
MORE CELTIC STORIES
There is a suggestion that Taylor has signed a pre-contract agreement with Dinamo Zagreb, but sources in Croatia have refuted those claims to 67 Hail Hail.
Celtic-daft Stephen McGinn touched upon those rumours and made it clear that he would be ‘disappointed’ if Taylor left in the summer, as he told Go Radio.

“Reports in the last couple of days suggested that he had signed a contract with Dinamo Zagreb,” said McGinn.
“Listening to Brendan Rodgers there, probably more confident that there is still a chance he could be a Celtic player next season. I would be really disappointed if he was to leave Celtic.
“What Brendan touched upon as well. Celtic have signed a lot of left-backs, for all different fees, permanent and loans. None of them have been able to replace Greg Taylor. Kieran Tierney is an unbelievable signing, if he stays fit. But I don’t think Kieran Tierney is going to come in and just play 60 games off the bat.”
Taylor told Celtic is the best place to play football
Rodgers has been pretty open about wanting to keep Taylor, but despite so much talk and noise, he hasn’t signed that contract yet.
McGinn wanted to make it clear to Taylor that the ‘grass isn’t greener’ on the outside and he won’t find a better place to play his football.
The ball-playing fullback is a regular starter at Celtic and McGinn thinks that the club, and the player, could be about ‘£5-7k’ off in the wages he wants.
“If Greg Taylor were to leave, Celtic would have to go and buy a left-back,” added McGinn.
“It’s a tricky position as Celtic have shown. It’s not easy to get someone in. It’s not easy to get an improvement on Greg Taylor. I can’t imagine they are £20k-a-week apart. It’s maybe £5-7k apart.
“I am just thinking, in the grand scheme of things, if everyone can park it and you can look at the bigger picture, what would buying another £3 million left-back look, with wages on top? Just give it to Greg Taylor! He’s always available and has been a really brilliant signing. Get it done. For him, there is nowhere he is going to find where the grass isn’t greener. He isn’t going to find a better place to play football than Celtic.”
