Celtic have agreed to their second deal of the January transfer window.

Fabrizio Romano has delivered his famous ‘Here we go!’ line after announcing on social media the details about Celtic’s loan deal for Crystal Palace player, Jeffrey Schlupp.

67 Hail Hail shared an update from Sky Sports earlier this afternoon where host, Nick Powell, said that a deal had been offered by Celtic to land the Ghanian international on loan and that agreement was ‘close’.

And now, Romano has revealed that a deal is now ‘in place’ with details of the loan agreement between Celtic and Crystal Palace.

It seems a loan deal has been agreed upon to take the 31-year-old utility player to Celtic Park as Romano shares if Brendan Rodgers has an option to buy the experienced international.

Romano said on X, “Jeff Schlupp from Palace to Celtic, here we go! Verbal agreement was done on straight loan, no buy option.

“Deal in place.”

Rodgers has just Adam Idah and Johnny Kenny as their striking options however, Daizen Maeda can slot in upfront if required.

The Japanese winger has been very effective on the left flank for Celtic but has the addition of Jota gave Brendan Rodgers another option that may not require adding another striker in January?
