GOOD NEWS:In a Massive record and historical Moment of Louisville Cardinals, Netflix set to release High documentary on the Cardinals….

A new name has emerged on the University of Louisville recruiting front for the Class of 2026.

After being watched by three members of the coaching staff last weekend, including head coach Pat Kelsey, five-star forward Cameron Williams has landed a scholarship offer from the Cardinals. Williams’ Compton Magic ball club announced the offer on social media.

The 6-foot-11, 200-pound Williams jumped 15 spots in the updated 247Sports rankings in the ’26 class and is now the No. 15 prospect in the nation.

Williams has had an impressive spring with Compton Magic on the adidas 3SSB circuit. The U of L coaches saw him last weekend at the Council Bluffs, Iowa, stop on the adidas circuit. He attends St. Mary’s High School in Phoenix.

Wrote 247Sports national analyst Eric Bossi from Council Bluffs:

“After 247Sports watched the Compton Magic extensively in California a few weeks ago, we didn’t focus on them as much this weekend, but we did make sure to check in on Cameron Williams. A guy that we’ve been high on since last spring, the 6-foot-10 four-man, continues to put it together.

“He’s thin, but a graceful mover with skill on the offensive end who can alter shots on defense. Williams has a real chance to be in the five-star conversation sooner rather than later.”
