Philippe Clement has been forced to piece together a threadbare team after being deprived of ELEVEN players.

 

Walking wounded Rangers are in action against Dundee United as they look to bounce back from their shattering midweek defeat at Old Trafford. And Clement’s depleted squad are without several of their top names as the Ibrox cub’s treatment room gets busier by the week.

Scotland defender John Souttar has been out of action since limping off early against Spurs last month, while Dujon Sterling hasn’t been seen since the 3-3 draw at Easter Road. Long-term crock Neraysho Kasanwirjo has been sent back to Feyenoord after suffering a nightmare knee injury for the Netherlands Under-21s in November.

Social media rumours were rife that Ridvan Yilmaz was on his way out after tagging himself at a Turkish cafe in Istanbul, but Clement branded the speculation a “shambles” and confirmed the left-back had picked up a “small injury”.
